COPPA delle ALPI
A un anno esatto dall’ultimo appuntamento, la Nazionale di Bowling si è ritrovata sulle piste del Centro Bowling Corvetto di Milano per gareggiare nella Coppa delle Alpi, manifestazione Internazionale riservata appunto ai Paesi Alpini. Austria, Francia, Germania, Italia e Svizzera sono le nazioni che fino a oggi vi hanno aderito nel futuro parteciparvi la Jugoslavia che iscritta alla FIQ – Zona Europea.
La prima edizione della Coppa delle Alpi, tenutasi a Ginevra era stata vinta dalla Nazionale Italiana (pari punti con la Germania), ma che aveva visto il proprio nome iscritto sulla base del Trofeo granitico, simbolo della competizione, per il miglior totale vantaggio sui tedeschi di 9 birilli sul totale generale.
L’Italia scese in pista con: Capitan Novelletto, Barbieri, Caffaratti, Canevari, Monti, Carravieri, Rossi R. e Sorba.

ALPINE CUP Past revival
Exactly one year after the last event, the National Bowling Team met on the slopes of the Corvetto Bowling Center in Milan to compete in the Alpine Cup, an international event reserved for Alpine countries. Austria, France, Germany, Italy and Switzerland are the nations that have joined it to date in the future, Yugoslavia which is registered in the FIQ – European Zone.
The first edition of the Alpine Cup, held in Geneva, was won by the Italian national team (tied on points with Germany), but which had seen its name entered on the basis of the Granite Trophy, symbol of the competition, for the best total advantage over the Germans of 9 pins out of the overall total.
Italy took to the track with: Capitan Novelletto, Barbieri, Caffaratti, Canevari, Monti, Carravieri, Rossi R. and Sorba.
